He is an Iraqi thinker, researcher and university professor. He held various positions: Director General of the Documentation Center for International Humanitarian Law, Secretary General of the Euro-Arab Center for Studies, member of the Arab Writers Union, Union of Arab Jurists and Iraqi writers Union. He has around 50 books tackling the issues of ideology, law, politics, Islam, human rights, civil society and international conflicts.
