‘FIKR’ means ‘thought’ or ‘idea’ in the Arabic language. Now in its eighth successful year, FIK8 is the annual conference hosted by the Arab Thought Foundation, a fresh platform for Pan-Arab economic dialogue which takes place Kuwait City from 9 to 10 December 2009.
The programme theme for 2009 is ‘Integrating Arab Economies: Partners For Prosperity’, focusing on the pressing economic and business issues facing the region and the impact of the global economic crisis on the impetus for pan-Arab economic partnership and integration.
