He is an Egyptian journalist, author and poet. He writes poetry, novels, short stories and plays. He is characterized by his own and particular style. He worked in the Second Egyptian Satellite (Al-Masriya Ataniya) in cultural programs and then moved to work in other satellite TV channels. He is currently working as presenter of the monthly program “Hewar Al Arab” (Dialogue of the Arabs) in
Al Arabiya news channel where he is as well a news anchor.
