The Youth for Change Project is an ongoing collaboration between the Arab Thought Foundation, the Library of Alexandria and the online social network TakingITGlobal.org.
The aim of the project is to help give a voice to young people in the Arab World. It hopes to encourage greater community engagement and to inspire our young people to take a positive, active role in tackling global issues from climate change and poverty reduction, to youth employment and access to education.
It’s an oft quoted cliché but the fact is the youth of today are our future and we strongly believe that their views need to be heard and their ideas and talents encouraged. We can all benefit from their greater engagement on a local, regional and global level.
Through online social networking platforms, seminars and initiatives, the ‘Youth for Change’ project brings young people together to share their ideas, to engage as a community and unite as a generation in bringing about positive change.
