Khalid Abdullah Janahi is Chairman of investment bank Ithmaar Bank and on the boards of BBK (formerly the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait) and the Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt.  He is a co-founder of the Arab Business Council with a strong background within both Western and Islamic finance sectors, serving on a number of boards including Chair Faisal Bank (Switzerland), the Islamic Investment Company of the Gulf (Bahamas) Ltd, Solidarity Group and Naseej, as well as being CEO Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust (DMI Trust).  

He also is on the board of Cambridge University’s Centre for International Business and Management.   Khalid is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (UK) and holds a BSc in Computer Science and Accountancy from the University of Manchester, UK.
